Morgenhof Premiere Selection 2001 Tasting note: This is a complex, full-bodied wine with an intense dark ruby red colour. The nose is a combination of ripe dark fruit, dark chocolate and cigarbox aromas with a savoury note. These follow thorugh to the palate which is classically styled with firm tannins and a smooth and balanced finish. This wine was made by the previous winemaker Rianie Strydom who is now based at Haskell Vineyards in Stellenbosch.
